For those who simply love the laid back and comfortable style, flip flops are the next best thing invented since denim jeans. You can wear them to just about anywhere at just about anytime. You can even wear them with just about anything, your maxi dress, your shorts or your leggings, name it! In fact flip flops were so versatile and fabulous that they have been regular fashion staples for young and olds alike, and we are not talking about the beach and resorts here, more of malls, restaurants and coffee shops that most people visit often. Some would even dare wear their new flip flops to the office!

So, what is it about flip flops that make them instant hit? Most of you will agree that the primary reason that lures people towards flip flops is the comfort and freedom that it represents and actually gives those footsies! It is such a welcome break for your often-overworked feet to finally take a break from the high heels and the cramped-up trainers and catch some fresh air courtesy of friendly and comfy flip flops. It also makes moving about easier, especially in case of pregnant women who have extra pounds to carry around as they walk.

The only downside of wearing flip flops is that your feet are way too exposed to dirt and grime, falling objects and other shoe-laden feet that might step on them at any given time while walking down a busy street. Otherwise, feel free to wear them as often as you can. Just be quick to dodge those reckless feet and make sure you have some wet wipes stashed in your bag all the time for those unexpected messy situations.

I got me this super trendy boots called “Tom Tailor Iris.”

This dark gray/brown pair is priced at 69,95 EUR but I got it for less, only I can’t remember exactly now….maybe 49,00 EUR including shipping costs.TOM TAILOR IRIS provides incredibly long legs…which I need being 5’2″. Its about 39cm high that goes above the knee and with10cm high heels to lengthen your legs. The 2cm-high platform sole adds on height.

The boots are made of high quality imitation leather, I say durable and highly resistant to the cold and wetness. The side zipper provides a convenient entry into this high-cut boots. The soft textile lining made from 100% polyester provides the necessary comfort during wear and the grip sole prevents slipping in rain and snow. I however find it difficult walking in these for long hours…and I say they’re not suitable for really cold days (read -10 and below)…which we are having now.

Boots for a Rainy Day

Rainy days has started, I’m a Karen Carpenter when this season comes. I don’t have rainboots so I just wear my regular boots. Thank God it can withstand the wetness. I bought this pair from Dockers along with another one, really comfy and warm only that they have 1-inch heels. Still, I love this pair, goes well with dresses, skirts and jeans.

Brown Pumps – Something Else from Skechers

This rounded pair is from Something else from Skechers. Just like most shoes from this collection the heels are not steeped but are comfortably formed with a little arch for wearers to use them comfortably. What I don’t like from this brown pair is the color looks a bit dirty (see below photo).
